Grizzly BBQ

Grizzly BBQ, based in Victoria, BC, takes its name from the Grizzly Bear motif inspired by the James Bay Athletic Association’s emblem. An homage to creator Ollie Briggs’ two-decade-long rugby career and community involvement. Ollie established Grizzly BBQ in 2016, although his passion for grilling began in 2011 during the first Ribfest on the West Coast. The Briggs family’s extensive involvement in the founding of Victoria Ribfest makes each event a wonderful family affair.

Grizzly BBQ’s menu for Mission Ribfest comes fully loaded with mouthwatering options: pork ribs, beef ribs, smoked chicken, brisket, pulled pork, southern baked beans, creamy coleslaw, and honey butter cornbread. Ollie’s favorite rib side? The honey butter cornbread, of course – it’s a must try!
