Mission RibFest 2024 is just around the corner and begins an exciting celebration of BBQ excellence and community spirit! Whether you’re a local resident or visiting Mission for the first time, this ultimate guide will ensure you make the most of this inaugural event at Fraser River Heritage Park.

Dates and Location

Mission RibFest 2024 will be held from August 2nd to August 5th at Fraser River Heritage Park in Mission, BC. Here’s the schedule:

  • Friday, August 2nd: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Saturday, August 3rd: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
  • Sunday, August 4th: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Monday, August 5th: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Prepare your taste buds for a feast! Six of Canada’s top ribbers will be competing and showcasing their best BBQ creations:

  • Guerilla Q: Known for tangy sauces and a full spread of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, paired with sides like mac and cheese and smoke pit beans.
  • Prairie Smoke & Spice: Award-winning BBQ with specialties like beef brisket, pulled pork, and unique sides such as maple bacon cornbread and apple cider coleslaw.
  • Boss Hogs: Winner of multiple People’s Choice awards, offering traditional favorites like pork ribs, beef brisket, and baked beans.

Tickets and Admission

Entry to Mission Rib Fest 2024 is by donation, with partial proceeds benefiting the Mission’s Youth House—a delicious way to support a great cause!

Tickets are available through the website or at the event entrance. Come join us for a weekend filled with live music, family activities, and of course, incredible Ribs, Food Trucks, and Entertainment!

*NEW* Free Shuttle Service

We don’t want anyone to miss out on Mission Ribfest, which is why we’re excited to offer free shuttle service to all our ribfest attendees. Taking the shuttle is easy! Just head to one of our two conveniently located pickup spots:

  • École Heritage Park Middle School: 33700 Prentis Avenue, Mission

  • Mission Leisure Centre: 7650 Grand Street, Mission

Please Note: The pick up and drop off for this stop will be near the Youth Center area. If you need to park your car, there is an overflow lot adjacent to the skate park.
